Full garden transformation Whitby, Ellesmere Port
This stunning full garden transformation in Whitby, Ellesmere Port, has completely transformed the outdoor space into a modern, practical and beautifully finished garden.
The existing ground was excavated to approximately 200mm deep, with 6 inches of MOT Type 1 sub-base installed and compacted to create a solid foundation. A light grey porcelain patio was then laid using 600 x 900mm porcelain tiles on a semi-wet sand and cement bed. Priming slurry was applied to each and every tile to help ensure a strong, long-lasting bond.
The patio area runs alongside the house, with a porcelain walkway leading through to the other side of the garden. Charcoal block edging was installed around the perimeter of the tiles, creating a sharp contrast and premium finish.
The garden was completed with timber sleeper bedding areas for shrubs, new planting, fresh turf and a shed at the rear. The combination of porcelain paving, charcoal edging and greenery has created a completely transformed outdoor space.
